Carson Valley Swim Center is no longer taking applications for lifeguards until spring 2011

Lifeguard qualifications: Must have current certification in
American Red Cross (or it's equivalent) Lifeguard Training, Professional CPR, and First Aid

The last lifeguard class of the season will be in June 2010.
Register online or in person at the center

Class pre-requisite:
Swim 300 yards nonstop using only freestyle and breastroke.
Dive to a depth of 7 - 10 feet, retrieve a 10# object,
return to the surface and swim 20 yards with the object,
within 1 min. 40 sec.
