I became a lifeguard in 1996, and started working at CVSC in 1999. In 2001 became Aquatic
Specialist and 2006 became a full time Aquatic Supervisor. I am certified as an EMT, Lifeguard
Instructor, Certified Pool Operator, Water Fitness Instructor, and a United States Swim Coach. I
enjoy working with the public, teaching swimming at all levels and abilities, teaching lifeguards,
aquatic programing, and working with our amazing staff.
Sarah Davenport Aquatic Supervisor EMT
I have worked at the Carson Valley Swim Center seasonally for over 10 years starting in 2006. I've worked my way up from a lifeguard into a supervisor position. In this time I have worked as a swim instructor, lifeguard, cashier, maintenance, senior guard and now aquatic supervisor to know the ins and outs of the entire facility. I'm one of the EMTs here and have my certifications in CPR/AED, lifeguarding, and CPO. I have obtained my bachelor's degree in cellular/molecular biology and neuroscience from Montana State University. I strive to make this place a fun and welcoming place to be for both our staff and patrons.

I have worked for the Carson Valley Swim Center since May 2019. I started here as a Part-Time Cashier and in March of 2021 I was promoted to the Front Office Admin/Cashier Supervisor. Prior to my position here, I worked in the Healthcare field for 30+ years. I have received the POOL/PACT Essential Management certification through the Carson Valley Swim Center. I really enjoy working here and I enjoy working with the wonderful team here at the swim center. I also really enjoy all the great and good natured patrons who visit our facility.

I have worked in water collections for about two years. I've done construction all my life in almost every aspect. This ranges from mostly high end custom homes, but also branches into light industrial projects. I feel this has given me a plethora of knowledge that I apply every day. I've been working at the pool for just over two years. There is never a dull moment here, and I enjoy making the swim center a better place any way I can.
