Located in the heart of Minden, NV, our community pool provides a safe and comfortable environment for individuals of all ages to learn how to swim. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping students improve their technique and build confidence in the water through swim lessons. Additionally, we offer private rental areas for those looking to celebrate special occasions in a unique and fun setting.

Swim Lesson Sessions Cancellation Refund Policy
There will be no refunds, unless approved by the Director, on Learn to Swim classes. With a minimum of 7 days’ notice, one may transfer to another session if space is available.
Adult Learn to Swim Program (ALTS)
Did you know that more than a third of adults cannot swim the length of a swimming pool? Carson Valley Swim Center gives adults the opportunity to overcome their fear of the water and improve stroke and breathing techniques under certified instruction. It’s never too late to learn how to swim!

Private Lesson Cancellation Refund Policy
A 24-hour cancellation notice is required prior to the lesson. If less than 24 hours notice is given, you will be charged for the private lesson.

Swim Class Notices
- Swim Classes are non-refundable.
- If your child wants to swim for more than 25 minutes before or after their scheduled class, please pay regular admission fees at the front desk.
- Please refrain from interrupting classes and observe from designated areas such as benches, tables, or the mezzanine.
- To better assist you in case of late arrival, please learn the name of your child’s teacher.
Water Aerobics
Our certified instructors lead 45-to-60 minute water aerobic classes that are suitable for individuals of all ages and abilities. You can work at your own pace and achieve your health and fitness goals through safe and effective water exercise. Classes are available year-round, six days a week, and typically have 15-50 participants, with the majority being senior citizens.

Fitness Area
CVSC has a well-equipped fitness area that includes cardiovascular and strength-building equipment, making it a great option for those looking to improve their physical health and fitness.
Lifeguard Training & CPR Classes
CVSC’s Red Cross certified instructors offer training that can prepare you to be a lifeguard or handle emergency situations. You will learn the latest safety and rescue techniques, as well as critical care such as CPR, first aid, and AED administration.
Rock Wall
Our Rock Wall is a great introduction to rock climbing, allowing you to experience the thrill of being 16 feet above the water. It’s a wonderful experience for everyone, from the timid to the enthusiastic.
Water Slides
Choose between the large or small enclosed chute for a breathtaking ride down. Enjoy the rush of the water as you twist and turn your way to the bottom, finishing with a big splashdown into an 85-degree pool. Please note that tubes are available on the large slide and there is a 48-inch height requirement.
Lap Swimming
CVSC’s lap swim lanes are a popular way to exercise and relax, with lap lane availability posted at the entrance counter. We’re committed to always having at least one lane available. Kickboards and buoys are provided for use, and lifeguards are available to assist with equipment and any other needs.
Diving Boards
Experience the thrill of diving from either the 3-meter or 1-meter diving board at CVSC, where you can choose to dive, flip, flop, cannonball, or jump into 13 feet of water. Lifejackets are available for use on the 1-meter diving board.
Rentals
At Carson Valley Swim Center, we offer a variety of rental options to suit your needs. Whether you’re planning a birthday party, a BBQ, or a private event, we have you covered. Our rental services provide a fun and unique way to celebrate any occasion, and our friendly staff is always available to help make your event a success.

After Hour Rentals
*Only available Saturday and Sunday 3:30pm – 5:30pm
*Rent the entire facility for a family gathering or company event
